McMaster Political Science Alumni and Program Specialist with Mitacs – our team has been working with McMaster’s Faculty of Graduate Studies and OPART on providing specialized professional development workshops for graduate students and postdocs.
We are hosting our final professional development workshop of the academic year on campus in early March. The workshops are interdisciplinary and are designed to provide graduate students and postdocs with essentials interpersonal and transferable skills necessary to success within and outside academia. Normally similar workshops would cost hundreds of dollars to participate in, but due to generous funding from the Province of Ontario the cost is covered. Those interested must register on-line using a credit card to secure their seat (similar to a hotel booking).
The workshop below is a perfect opportunity to enhance team building skills for those working on a group project or planning on managing a team. The session is capped at 24 participants and we have a few more seats remaining. I would appreciate any assistance to help spread the word and share this opportunity with graduate students and colleagues who may not have received the invite to register.
