The MSSS aims to provide academic programming that aims to enrich the lives of Social Sciences undergraduate students. Through various programs and events such as the Peer Mentorship program and Career Crawl, Social Sciences student are able to gain knowledge and skillsets needed for success. Beyond MSSS academic programming, the society partners with Faculty offices such as the Office of Experiential Education, with hopes of providing students with first-hand experience. Additionally, the MSSS aims to foster a healthy and balanced academic life through various Student Awards, honouring students who have showed exceptional leadership, community involvement and commitment to academics.
Undergraduate students in the Faculty of Social Sciences have access to study rooms in the basement of L.R. Wilson Hall. The rooms area available from 8am – 10pm.
