Core Executive Team

The core executive team makes up the heart of the MSSS, and are the governing body of our student society. 

Composed of the president and vice presidents of administration, finance, academics, programming, and external affairs, our executives ensure that all of the services and events provided by the MSSS continue to run as efficiently as possible as well as bring about new initiatives. 

Furthermore, the executives are a source of communication, always open to the wishes and needs of undergraduate social sciences students at McMaster University.

About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Tuqa, I use she/her pronouns, and I am in my final year majoring in Political Science and specializing in Public Law and Judicial Studies. I am very excited to be your MSSS President this year! My position entails many things, and I will make sure the connection between the MSSS and you as a student is as strong as it can be! A fun fact about me is that I like to build computers and keyboards! I plan to have a collection of keyboards in the near future.

About Me

My pronouns are She/Her and I am entering my fourth year of PNB (Music Cognition Specialization) with a Concurrent Certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis! My role as VP Administration calls for me working closely with the President to make sure that the internal on-goings of the MSSS are running smoothly! I hope to promote more transparency within and outside the MSSS and Social Sciences students! A fun fact about myself is that my biggest fear is wood (getting splinters freak me out).

About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Naviatha—but you can call me Navi—and my pronouns are she/her. This is my final year at McMaster majoring in Honours Political Science and specializing in Public Law and Judicial Studies. My role as the VP of Programming includes working with MSSS peripherals such as members of the formal committee, the year representatives, and the diversity officer to ensure that MSSS events are as engaging, inclusive and successful as possible! A fun fact about me is that I love mystery and romance novels, and my all-time favourites are The Inheritance Games and The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, respectively.

Hi everyone! My name is Myra (she/her), and I'm in my fourth year of Political Science with a specialization in Global Citizenship, and a minor in Sociology. As VP External, my responsibilities include running all of the MSSS social media platforms and this website, whilst also engaging in the charitable aspect of the society! A fun fact about me is that I am obsessed with the MCU movies and Black Panther is my favourite one!
